New presentation out of the treasure of the legendary artist A.R. Rahman, this soundtrack is Rahman’s first Tamil composition after the success of Oscar Winning Slumdog Millionaire. Combining 7 songs in some of the greatest voices like Benny Dayal, Shreya Ghoshal, A.R. Rahman himself and innumerable other singers, the album’s lyrics are penned by Thamarai. The album features six songs in Tamil and Malayalam plus one theme track by composer A.R. Rahman himself.

As Rahman scores for the first time for a Gautham Menon film, the album was released on 19 December 2009 in London with several film personalities participating at the grand function. This was the first time that a Tamil movie audio release was held in London.
