Actor Prabhu in character roles

Actor Prabhu had us crazy with his subtle yet scintillating performances in his halcyon days. Now, the veteran actor is content to essay character performances teeming with substance. Prabhu, the son of legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan, had acted in over hundred films in the lead role. Of late, he’s happy to hand over the celluloid mantle to younger actors choosing to stay in the background. He was a part of ‘Billa’, ‘Unakkum Enakkum’, ‘Thamirabarani’ ‘Silambattam’, ‘Pasakiligal’ and many others. We’ve heard that he’s now acting in ‘Malai Malai’ as the actor’s (Arun Vijay) brother and would also appear in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ashokavanam’
