A.R. Rahman has created history! The maestro won two Oscars at the 81st Annual Academy Awards. ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ won ‘The Best Original Score’ and the ‘Best Original Song’ awards. Directed by Danny Boyle, the film made a clean sweep at the Academy Awards bagging eight awards. This is a golden moment in Indian cinema with A.R. Rahman becoming the first artist to bag two Oscar awards. Resul Pookutty was awarded in the ‘Best Sound Mixing’ category and Slumdog Millionaire was judged as the Best Picture.
