After a really long time, we’ve finally come across a flick which tears open the social system and points out the faults. Chithiraipoove is about female infanticide and it aims to spread awareness about this cruel practice. The film is written and directed by R. Kalaimurugan and is all about a young mother and her struggle to educate people against this practice. Sandeep, a new comer, plays the lead with Thamarai as the actress. This film would hit the screens in June and promises to be an interesting fare.
